Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Titus 3: 3-8 3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.

Welcome

Thank you for taking time to visit our web-site. We hope that you find the warmth of our church on these pages. We are a body of Christians seeking to have a deeper walk with Jesus Christ. We would like to make ourselves and our ministries available to you and your family.

We would also like to extend an invitation to come and visit us during any of our weekly services or Bible studies.

Daisy Church of God is vitally committed to its community and neighbors. We welcome you to be a part of our family. God bless you and keep you.

Immanuel - God with Us
Is. 7.14

May you know Him as..
The God who sings over you and with you in Joy
The God who rejoices over you and with you.
The God whose mountains and hills break forth
before you into singing;
and all the trees of His fields clap their hands
The God who walks beside you,
delighting with you as He directs your every step.

May you know Him as..
The God who compassionately comforts you
as a Father in all your troubles
The God who strengthens your inner man
by His Spirit that is always with you.
The God who is your strength,
your refuge and a very evident and present help.
The God who is your shield and protection
when you are under attack.
The ever present God who is eternally your peace.

For unto us a child is born,
Unto us a son is given:
And the government shall be upon his shoulder:
And his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God,
The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace. Isa 9:6

And that child grew up..
To become....
our Saviour.
Our Redeemer
Our Portion
Our Strong Tower
Our Friend.

Blessings for the New Year

I choose to initiate God’s promises and blessings for my life in the New Year by declaring them as true. He is the “God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were” (Romans 4:17, NIV). The power in a blessing is in speaking it! Because I believe that God has more wonderful things planned for me than I can even imagine (Ephesians 3:20) for the coming year, today I declare that:

I am blessed with God’s divine purpose and perfect plan for my life. I am blessed with gifts, God-given abilities and guidance. I am blessed with strength of character, self-determination and self-control. I am blessed with family and friends, faith and freedom. I am blessed with health, happiness, favor and fulfillment. I am blessed with promotion, protection, prosperity and provision. I am blessed with spirit of obedience, supernatural success and a positive outlook on life. I am blessed with a fresh start and a new outlook on life, beginning today.

I am looking forward to the new thing God will do in my life this year. I choose to let go of the past and get excited about my future because I am blessed!

Heavenly Father, for this coming year Just one request I bring. I do not pray for happiness or any earthly thing. I do not ask to understand the way you lead me; But this I ask—teach me to do the thing that pleases You. I want to know your guiding voice, to walk with you each day.

Heavenly Father, make me swift to hear and ready to obey; and thus the year I now begin a happy year will be, if I am seeking just to do the thing that pleases You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen

A Christmas Prayer

Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth may we begin to see the world in the light of the understanding you give us. As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves in this season of giving?

Lord Jesus, Please forgive me for being as grumpy as I trudge through the never-ending tasks set before me this holiday season... My to-do list seems to keep growing with shopping, church services, and family gatherings--- and I'm running short of time! Restore the joy of Christmas to my heart . . and help me to relax each day and make time for You--my one true Source of Joy.

I think about my family, my relatives, the neighbors, people with whom we will spend this day. Dear Jesus, as I look at their faces and remember their stories, there are feelings of gratitude and some fear and anxiety. Thank you for these loved ones and please forgive me for the ways I have been less than accepting and loving. Please heal the wounds, division and conflicts that stand between us and help me to remember how dearly you love them. I only want to remember that you have come to save each and every one of us, and that includes even the ones I do not like or the ones I disagree with. So dear Lord, help me to have your compassion and understanding, and to reach out beyond my comfort level, in boldness and in love, as You have do.

Father, in celebrating Christmas, we are celebrating Jesus, the expression of your lavish, amazing, divine love. While singing carols, we worship Him, love incarnate. May the love of Christ flow like rivers from the depth of our being? May we henceforth be known as the lovers of God and of each other? As we choose to walk with you, let love be the token of our lives.  Lord Jesus, Wise men traveled for miles to bring you the first Christmas presents. So may we, too, remember with thankful hearts the love that comes with each present we open? We also thank you for the amazing love you have for each of us, and we thank you for the many gifts that you give us.

God grant you the light of Christmas, which is faith;

the warmth of Christmas, which is purity;

the righteousness of Christmas, which is justice;

the belief in Christmas, which is truth;

the all of Christmas, which is Christ?

Lord, may we be like the Wise Men who were guided to you by a star. Give us the wisdom to seek you, light to guide us to you, courage to search until we find you, graciousness to worship you and generosity to lay our gifts before you, who are our King and our God for ever and ever. The day of joy returns, Father in Heaven, and crowns another year with peace and good will.

Dear Lord, help us rightly to remember the birth of Jesus, that we may share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds, and the worship of the wise men. Close the doors of hate and open the doors of love all over the world? Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. Deliver us from evil, by the blessing that Christ brings, and teach us to be merry with clean hearts. May the Christmas morning make us happy to be thy children, and the Christmas evening bring us to our bed with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus?

A Root shall come forth from the stock of Jesse, and a Flower shall rise out of his root! The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him. The spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the spirit of counsel and of fortitude,  the spirit of knowledge and of godliness. The people that walked in darkness shall see a great light, for a Child is born to us  and a Son is given to us. To Him all power shall be given. His Name shall be: Wonderful One, Strong God, Eternal One, Prince of Peace. He shall sit on the throne of David, and He will found a new Covenant which will last for ever and ever.

Amen

Luke 10:2
He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

1 Corinthians 3:9
For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

2 Corinthians 6:1
As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.
